In the past year, pork imports to Ukraine reached 30.8 thousand tons, exceeding the 2024 level by 13.4 times.

Purchasers paid $76.3 million for imported pork, 13.2 times more than in 2024. The largest sources were European countries – Denmark (57.5%), Poland (18.6%) and the Netherlands (8.3%).

Exports from Ukraine totaled only 2.2 thousand tons of pork, 31.2% lower than in 2024 and 14 times less than the volume of imported pork.

Ukrainian pork was mainly purchased by the United Arab Emirates (33.5%), Bahrain (17.6%) and Hong Kong (16.7%). Export revenues for the year fell by 16.2%, reaching $6.7 million.
