Ukraine has increased the transfer of grain wagons to Hungary and Romania

Last week, Ukraine slightly increased the transfer of grain cargo through railway border crossings with Hungary and Romania, while figures at the borders with Slovakia and Poland decreased.

As of November 12, an average of 40.2 grain wagons per day were heading to Hungary, which is 16.9 units more than at the end of October. The increase in transfers at the Romanian border is estimated at 6.3 wagons per day, reaching 9.6 wagons per day.

Regarding other crossings, transfers at the Polish border decreased by 4.1 wagons per day to 6.75 wagons per day, and at the Slovak border by 1.9 wagons per day to 13.5 wagons per day.

The overall average daily transfer of grain cargo and meal as of November 12 stood at 154 wagons per day, which is 19 wagons per day (or 14%) higher than the figure at the end of October.
