NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and the Greek state company DEPA Commercial signed a Letter of Intent regarding the supply of natural gas to Ukraine during the winter period, as part of the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of NAV “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Serhiy Koretskyi and the CEO of the Greek state company DEPA Commercial Konstantinos Xifaras.

Under the future agreement, the transportation of gas to Ukraine will be carried out via a route jointly ensured by the gas transmission system operators of five European countries.

The President and the Prime Minister also discussed long-term arrangements – obtaining natural gas from the United States through Greece.
