Export of millet from Ukraine fell by one third

In October, in Ukraine exports of millet decreased by 33,4% compared to the previous month, totalling 8.64 thousand tons.

The current situation is explained by a change in the geography of supplies. In September this year, Kenya was the main buyer of Ukrainian millet (54,7%), while in October the country did not purchase a single ton.

At the same time, the decline in exports is also attributed to a reduction in available supply, which led to higher prices for the product.
