Based on the results of the 2024/25 marketing year the EU imported 611 thousand tons of sugar.

Ukraine’s share of sugar imports amounted to 17%. Other major exporters to the EU are Mauritius, the United Kingdom, Colombia.

At the same time, EU sugar exports to third countries amounted to 1.6 million tons. The main export destinations were Israel, the United Kingdom, and Libya.
