Between 1 July and 19 October 2025 the EU imported a record volume of mustard seeds – 33 thousand tons, which is 38,6% more than during the same period last year.

The main supplier of mustard seeds to the EU is Canada, which shipped 8,5 thousand tons of oilseed mustard – 3.2% more compared to last year. This volume reached a 10-year maximum.
