Ukrainian dairy imports in October were 1,5% higher than exports

Ukraine’s foreign trade in dairy products in October 2025 reached $53,0 million, which is 1,4% more compared to August  ($52,2 million).

Export volumes in October ($21,2 million) increased by 2,4% compared to September, but were 8% lower than in August ($23,0 million).

The export value structure in October 2025 was as follows: 30% – cheese, 25% – butter, 24% – milk and condensed creams.

At the same time, imports amounted to $31,8 million, remaining at the same level as in September ($31,6 million), but were 20.5% higher than in August ($26,2 million)

At the same time, the import value structure in October 2025 did not change significantly compared to October 2024. In particular cheese of all types accounted for 79,6%, butter – for 6,4%, and fermented dairy products – for 5,3%.

The export-import balance in October was negative (-$10,6 million), the same as in September (-$10.9 million), while in August it stood -$3,2 million. The export/import ratio in October was recorded at -0,66, in September –0,65, and +0,88 in August.
