A significant increase in the import of complex fertilizers to Ukraine in July this year was the result of improved logistics, the approach of the application season and the stabilization of the specified market segment.

Farmers couldn't wait any longer, because in July, grain is harvested and NPK is applied to winter rapeseed. At the same time, it becomes clear what are the prospects for the sunflower and corn crops. As a result, in July the majority of farmers is already finally determined with the amount of fertilizers and their characteristics.

In July, in general, purchases of imported fertilizers in Ukraine increased by 38% compared to the previous month, and the fact that the increase in import volumes occurred for all complex brands, it can be stressed that farmers have "optimistic calculations."
