According to the results of 2023, Ukraine took 5th place out of 125 countries in terms of the volume of organic products exported to the EU and for the sixth year in a row remains in the top 5 largest exporters to the EU.

During 2023 2,48 million tons of organic agro-food products were imported into the EU, which is 9,1% less than in the previous period and almost 0,78 million tons less than in 2018.

The EU remains the main importer of raw materials and products of primary production. Fruits (tropical, fresh or dried), sunflower cakes and soybeans make up the largest share of imports.

The volume of export of organic products from Ukraine reduced by 20,7% compared to 2022.
