Ukrainian IT export grew by 2,75% in May

The volume of export of IT services from Ukraine for May 2024 amounted to $560 million.

Compared to April 2024, when export of IT services amounted to $545 million, this is an increase of $15 million, or approximately 2,75%. However, this indicator is $5 million less than in March ($565 million). The lowest volume of export of IT services this year was recorded in January — $508 million.

In May 2024, the export of IT services accounted for approximately 38,11% of the total export of Ukraine, which reached $1,469 billion.

In the first five months of 2024, the volume of exports of IT services from Ukraine reached $2.695 billion, which is slightly less than in the same period of 2023 ($2,804 billion).

The main partner countries of Ukraine in May 2024 remain the USA, Great Britain, Malta, Cyprus and Israel.

Exports to Great Britain amounted to $48 million in April 2024, increased to $50 million in May, while in May 2023 this indicator was at the level of $34 million.

Export to Malta increased from $37 million in April 2024 to $44 million in May, although they were $57 million in May 2023.

The export of IT services to Cyprus in April 2024 amounted to $34 million, and in May it decreased to $30 million, which, however, is higher than the figure of $25 million in May 2023.

Israel received $20 million in April 2024 and $30 million in May, which is higher than last year's May figure of $25 million.
