The Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure and the Norwegian Ministry of Transport have agreed on the possibility of continuing bilateral and transit transportations between countries without permits until September 30, 2024.
In August this year, a meeting of the specialized commission will be held, based on the results of which further extension of the "transport visa-free" with Norway is expected.
"Liberalization of transportation will help Ukraine not only increase the volume of cargoes’ transportation, but also integrate into the European and world transport system. Following the continuation of the "transport visa-free" between Ukraine and the EU, we continue to simplify logistics routes for our carriers with other countries. For business, these are opportunities for development, and for the state - a growth in export and economic growth,"- said Serhiy Derkach, Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Liberalization of cargoes’ transportation is possible for vehicles of the Euro-5 environmental standard and higher. When carrying out transportation on board a truck, drivers must have a certificate confirming the environmental class of the truck.
