The State Production and Consumer Service and the Food Agency of the Republic of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of food safety.

The document envisages strengthening the comprehensive development of bilateral cooperation between the competent authorities of Ukraine and the Republic of Singapore in order to promote mutual trade in food products during import, export and re-export.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties confirmed their intention to promote the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of control, prevention and elimination of animal diseases in accordance with the Terrestrial Animal Health Code of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).
