A year ago, only one company had the status of AEO in Ukraine, and now there are 50 authorizations, which were received by 46 enterprises companies in total.

In particular, 2 of these companies received simultaneously both types of authorizations "on granting the right to apply simplifications" (AEO-C) and "on confirmation of safety and reliability" (AEO-B), which brings Ukraine closer to the possibility of concluding an agreement on mutual recognition with other countries where the AEO program operates. The list of roles performed by the following companies in the international supply chain has also significantly expanded:

• producer (exporter) – 31 enterprises;

• importer – 10 enterprises;

• warehouse keeper – 3 enterprises;

• others (carrier, forwarding agent, customs representative) – 4.

Now the State Customs Service is considering 28 applications of enterprises to obtain AEO authorization. And such a figure indicates the consistently high interest of Ukrainian business entities in obtaining the corresponding status.
