Export of frozen cattle meat fell by 29,5% in 5 months

In January-May 2024, Ukraine has exported 6,7 thousand tons of frozen cattle meat, which is 29,5% less than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, export reduced by 24,7% compared to the first five months of 2023 up to 28,4 million US dollars.

The main buyers of Ukrainian frozen cattle meat during the five months of this year were China (37,3%), Azerbaijan (36,3%) and Georgia (9,5%).

The import of frozen cattle meat during January-May 2024 increased 1,5 times up to 1,1 thousand tons.

In monetary terms, import increased by 55% compared to January-May 2023, up to 5,9 million US dollars.

Ukraine has bought the most frozen cattle meat in January-May this year from Lithuania (54,2%), Germany (22,5%) and Ireland (18,1%).
