The volume of export of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in the 2023/24 marketing year in May of this year amounted to 4,95 million tons, which is 1,9 million tons, or 63% more than the similar figure last season.

Thus, 1,45 million tons of wheat were exported during the reporting month, which is 48% more than last May. The supply of barley to foreign markets amounted to 171 000 tons, which is 6% more than in May 2023. 3,3 million tons of corn were exported, or 76% more than shipments in the same month last season. The export of Ukrainian flour in April amounted to 5 thousand tons, which is 2,5 times less than last year's figure (12,8 thousand tons).
