Ukrainian sugar export in February amounted to almost 75 000 tons. A total of 350 000 tons have been exported since the beginning of the 2023/24 marketing year.

According to preliminary data from customs statistics, Ukrainian sugar export in February 2024 amounted to 75 000 tons, compared to 56 000 tons in January and an average of 70 000 tons since the beginning of the 2023/24 marketing year (October 2023).

It is mentioned that in the first five months of the 2023/24 season, export amounted to 350 000 tons, compared to 214 000 tons in the corresponding period of the previous marketing year.

In total, for the calendar year 2023, sugar export from Ukraine amounted to 506 000 tons with a total value of 390 million US dollars. The largest sugar export volumes in Ukrainian history were in 2017-18, in each of which almost 600 000 tons of the product were exported.
