In November 2023, "Ukrzaliznytsia" transported the largest amount of shipments in the export direction since the beginning of the invasion of the russian federation - 6,1 million tons.

This is 25% more than in October 2023, and 56% more than in November 2022. Thus, according to the nomenclature of cargoes in November, grain cargoes took the first place in export - 2,43 million tons (39,9%), only insignificantly reduced ore - 2,32 million tons (38,1%), in the 3rd place - ferrous metals 0,41 million tons (6,7%). Transportation of grain to the ports in November amounted to 1,7 million tons, which is 1,7 times more than in October of the current year. At the same time, transportation in the direction of western border crossings reduced by 4,2%, to 717,6 thousand tons compared to October. The volume of iron ore export in November, compared to October, in the direction of sea ports increased by 66% and amounted to 1,3 million tons.

The volume of transportation of ferrous metals increased by 1,5 times. Also, compared to November 2022, export shipments of vegetable oil increased by 16,7%, amounting to 154 000 tons. This is only 16 000 tons less than the pre-war November 2021.
