Switzerland will allocate more than 3 million euros for the initiative Grain from Ukraine

Switzerland will allocate 3 million francs (over 3 million euros) to the World Food Program, which implements "Grain from Ukraine" initiative. On November 25, the second summit of the Ukrainian humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine took place in Kyiv under the auspices of the President of Ukraine. According to the results of the summit, a joint statement was adopted, which was supported by 23 countries.

The Swedish government announced that it will provide Ukraine with more than 8,7 million euros as part of the "Grain from Ukraine" initiative. Finland will allocate 3 million euros of additional support to improve food security in Ukraine. In particular, the funds will be directed to support the export of grain and help in demining villages. As part of the initiative, Lithuania will allocate 2 million euros by the end of the year, and is also ready to increase the transit capacity of Baltic ports for Ukrainian export.
