In the 2022/2023 marketing year, Ukraine has increased the production and export of sunflower oil by 25,4% and sunflower meal by 27,3% compared to the 2021/2022 marketing year. In 8 months of 2023, the export of sunflower seeds decreased by 58% compared to the corresponding period of 2022, which made it possible to significantly increase its processing at domestic facilities and, accordingly, the production and export of products with high added value.

In 2022/23 marketing year, the production and export of soybean oil increased by 18%, the export of soybean meal - by 19,4%. Also, in 2023, Ukraine has increased the processing of rapeseed, which is confirmed by the increase in the export of rapeseed oil in July - August of this year compared to the corresponding period of 2022 by more than 20 times.
