The Ministry for Communities’  Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova signed a protocol that allows to increase the volume of railway transportation. The Protocol provides for the simplification of control procedures for railway transit of goods with a point of departure and destination Ukraine or Moldova, or when similar points are located on the territory of a third country.

Thus, non-stop travel through the territory of Ukraine between the border checkpoint "Frikacei - Etulia" and "Reni - Giurgiulesti" is introduced, which will contribute to increasing the volume of transportations.
