In March 2023, Ukraine managed to export 7,8 million tons of agricultural products, which is 12% more than the same indicator of the previous month.
This is a record figure since the beginning of the war. 51% of export in March 2023 were carried out with the help of the "grain shipping corridor", and the rest - through alternative export routes. The structure of product exports was as follows:
grain crops: 5,7 million tons (corn - 67%, wheat - 29%, barley - 4%). Growth compared to last month: 10%;
oil crops - 683,1 thousand tons (soy - 61%, sunflower seeds - 29% and rapeseed - 9%). Growth: 23%.
vegetable oils - 556,2 thousand tons (sunflower oil - 94%, soybean oil - 5%). Growth: 28%.
cakes after extraction of vegetable oils - 454,7 thousand tons (sunflower - 83%, soybean - 17%). Growth: 10%.
In March 2023, growth was demonstrated by absolutely all groups of agricultural products, which is a positive trend.
For today the main problem that remains is the large gap between the world price and the price on the Ukrainian market for the main agricultural crops.
