According to the official information from the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), cases of African swine fever (ASF) have been registered in the Republic of Singapore.

In order to prevent the introduction of the causative agent of the specified disease into the territory of Ukraine, the Chief State Veterinary Inspector of Ukraine prohibited the import into Ukraine from the Republic of Singapore of animals belonging to the pig (Suidae), Tayassuidae and Tapiridae families, genetic material, and their products (with the exception of products processed in accordance with the Requirements).
