During the 18 days of December 2022, 3,6 million tons of agricultural products and their processing were shipped from Ukraine, which is 800 000 tons more than in the first half of November. Corn remains leader, 1,6 million tons of it were shipped. This is almost twice as much as in 15 days of November. Compared to the first two weeks of November, the tonnage of wheat supplies has not changed and amounts to 815 000 tons.
The third position is occupied by sunflower oil with a load of 303 thousand tons. This is 4 000 tons less than in mid-November.
The tendency to increase is observed in the supply of soybeans for the third month already: 238 000 tons for the first half of this month against 199 000 tons for the 15 days of November.
The volume of shipments of sunflower seeds increased by 44 000 tons, and 230 000 tons crossed the border in 18 days of December.
The supply of meal decreased by 27 000 tons, 146 000 tons were shipped in the first half of December. Also, the volume of barley shipments in December decreased by 68,1 thousand tons, the volume of shipments is 97,9 thousand tons. On the other hand, the supply of soybean oil is unchanged, 9,9 thousand tons of it went in 18 days.
The general picture of the amount of agricultural products that have already crossed the border of Ukraine in percentage for 18 days of December is as follows:
43,30% – corn,
22,71% – wheat,
8,44% – sunflower oil,
6,63% – soybeans,
6,48% - rapeseed,
6,41% – sunflower seeds,
4,07% - flour,
2,73% – barley,
0,28% - soybean oil.
The export of agricultural products in terms of their transportation for the first half of December is as follows:
2,5 million tons were sent through ports (sea and river),
by railway - 706,6 thousand tons,
by automobile transport – 357,9 thousand tons,
by ferry - 25 thousand tons.
