On December 12, the 35th meeting of the EU-CTC Joint Committees on joint transit and simplification of formalities in goods trade and the 189th meeting of the EU-CTC Working Group on joint transit and simplification of formalities in goods trade were held in Brussels.

Considering the fact that Ukraine has joined the Convention on the common transit procedure and the Convention on simplification of formalities in trade in goods from October 1, a significant part of time was devoted to the issue of the start of the international application of NCTS by Ukraine.

In general, the participants of the meetings confirmed that the operations that have already taken place testify that the joint transit procedure with Ukraine is functioning, and noted the reliability of the system's operation due to the absence of failures in its operation.
