On December 5, Ukraine and the UAE began negotiations on the conclusion of an agreement on comprehensive economic partnership (Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements, CEPA).

The agreement with the UAE will open new prospects for the Ukrainian economy and business in the Gulf region.

The signing of the agreement will correspond to the interests of Ukraine and the current trends in the development of the global economy in terms of digitization and the introduction of the latest technologies.

In 2021, bilateral trade in goods and services between Ukraine and the UAE set a record of 1,147 billion US dollars. Positive balance for Ukraine - 727,7 million US dollars.
