This year during January Ukraine had imported products worth 4,8 billion USD and exported goods worth 3,1 billion USD. 

The countries from which Ukraine imported the majority of goods are the following: China — 910 million USD, Poland — 440 million USD and Turkey — 424 million USD.

Ukraine exported goods mainly to Poland — 464 million USD, Romania — 285 million USD, China — 284 million USD. 

The following categories of goods accounted for 71% of the total volume of goods imported in January 2023:

machinery, equipment and transport — 1,4 billion USD;   

fuel and energy products — 1,3 billion USD;  

chemical industry products — 720 million USD;   

The top-3 goods exported from Ukraine are:  

- food products — 2,1 billion USD;   

- metals and products made of them — 258  million USD;   

- machinery, equipment and transport — 245  million USD.
