According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UCAB), in 2023 Ukrainian farmers will be able to export no more than 20 million tons of grain.

The reason for the reduce in export will primarily be the reduce in this year's harvest. According to the association's forecasts, the grain harvest in Ukraine in 2023 will amount to 34 million tons. In total, 53 million tons of grain and oilseeds will be harvested in Ukraine in 2023.

This year, less grain crops will be sown in Ukraine, due to low profitability and lack of funds from farmers, in particular for the purchase of fertilizers.
