In January, Ukraine shipped 5,5 million tons of grain, oil crops and their processing products. This is 1,3 million tons less than in December. This reduction trend is due to the artificial blocking of the "grain shipping corridor" by russian inspectors.
In the first month of the new year, deliveries of absolutely all agricultural crops reduced, including the leaders of shipments: corn and wheat. Corn went by 700 000 tons less, and wheat by 250 000 tons.
During the 11 months of the war, we sent 44,4 million tons of agricultural products to other countries, including 9,9 million tons of wheat and 18,2 million tons of corn.
Sunflower oil remains in the top three leaders of shipments with 347 000 tons, which is 121 000 less than in December. January deliveries of soybeans remained almost the same compared to December deliveries - 345 thousand tons against 387 thousand tons. A similar difference in volumes is also in meal deliveries.
Supplies of sunflower seeds halved: in January we have 190 thousand tons, while in December it was 122 thousand tons more.
Rapeseed supplies continue to reduce, it is due to the end of the season for this crop.
Shipments of barley remained almost unchanged in January: 168,7 thousand tons in January against 179 thousand tons in December. In the first month of 2023, soybean oil was exported by 6 thousand tons more - 26 thousand tons.
The total situation with the shipments for January in percentages is as follows: 47,36% is corn, 24,23% - wheat, 6,33% - sunflower oil, soybeans - 6,29%, 5,38% - meal, sunflower seeds - 3,46%, rapeseed – 3,39%, barley – 3,08%, soybean oil – 0,49%.
