According to the official information of the European Union (through the animal disease notification system - ADIS), cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been registered on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. In order to prevent the causative agent of the specified disease from being introduced into the territory of Ukraine, the Chief state veterinary inspector of Ukraine has prohibited the import of hatching eggs, poultry, and poultry products from the Republic of Serbia into Ukraine from the Republic of Serbia (with the exception of products that have been processed by a method that guarantees the destruction of the causative agent of the specified disease in accordance with the Requirements).
