Banks have already issued 33 million credit costs to Ukrainian exporters

Within the framework of the special lending program for exporters, banks issued 14 loans for the sum of 33,2 million UAH. Another 12 agreements are waiting to be signed.

This was reported by the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA).

"Banks - partners of EKA within the framework of a special lending program for exporters during the martial law supported the issuance of 8 more loans with simplified collateral requirements. In general, as of 19 August, banks have already issued 14 loans for the sum of  33,211 million UAH", - the message reads.

Besides, another 12 credit agreements for 54,37 million UAH have been agreed and they are waiting to be signed by the parties.

It is stressed that entrepreneurs from Ivano-Frankivsk region, Rivne region, Kyiv region, Odesa region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaporizhia region and Chernivtsi region received loans. They are exporting paper bags, timber products, solid fuel boilers, parquet board, furniture components, furniture, rubber products and food products.

According to EKA data, thanks to the loans received for the fulfillment of export contracts, the total amount of supported exports will exceed 203,5 million UAH.

As reported in March, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law as a whole on ensuring the large-scale expansion of the export of goods (works, services) of Ukrainian origin through insurance, guarantees and cheaper loans. The document provides for ensuring the effective functioning of the Export Credit Agency.
