According to the data, provided by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, since the beginning of the year Ukraine has earned 223,5 million USD on the poultry meat exports.

Since the beginning of the year Ukraine has exported 175 thousand tons of poultry meat, which amounts to 223,5 million USD. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, the poultry meat deliveries abroad increased by 25 % (in monetary terms).

At the same time, in January-May Ukraine has imported only 35,3 thousand tons of poultry meat, which amounts to 15,3 million USD. This means that exports of poultry meat 5 times exceeds imports of this product (in weight terms).

The top-consumers of this type of Ukrainian product are: the Netherlands, the Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

During 5 months Ukraine has delivered to the Netherlands the poultry meat worth 39,3 million USD. At the same time the Saudi Arabia has bought the Ukrainian poultry meat worth 34,2 million USD and the UAE – 29 million USD.

Let us remember you, that during 10 years, Ukraine has 30 times increased the poultry meat deliveries abroad and has become one of key traders.

As it has been reported before, the main producer and exporter of the poultry meat in Ukraine is the MHP company (“Nasha Riaba”), in the Ist quarter of 2020 it has produced 178,6 thousand tons of poultry mean and this is 4% more, than in the previous year. Moreover, the producer has also reduced the cost of the poultry meat by 11%
