Andrii Zablotskyi, the head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine, announces that during the I^st quarter of 2020, the exports of products manufactured from wood has increased by 8% in comparison with the same period of the previous year and now it amounts to 185 thousand m³.

The increase in exports of such products is particularly noticeable: industrial flooring (32,2 thousand m², + 7%), chipped firewood (3,9 thousand m³, + 11%), edged lumber (81,9 thousand m³, + 12). Zablotskyi has emphasized that this increase is gradual.

The head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine has also added that the Ukrainian wood products continue to gain popularity on the international markets and this brings profit. Moreover, the majority of exported products are value-added wood products and this indicates a gradual increase in production capacity. This also means new jobs, more taxes payed and more budget revenues.
