The informational and analytical web portal of AIC of Ukraine informs that Ukraine, from the beginning of the 2019/2020 marketing year (hereinafter –MY; it has started from July 1, 2019) and as of April 13, 2020 has exported 47,7 million tons of cereal and leguminous crops, and this is 8,01 million tons more as of the same date of the previous MY.
This number includes: 18,2 million tons of exported wheat (4,5 million tons more than in the previous MY), 24,33 million tons of exported corn (2,47 million tons more), 4,5 million tons of exported barley (1,14 million tons more), 8,2 thousand tons of exported rye (80 thousand tons less in comparison with the previous MY). The exports period considered above is from July 1, 2019 to April 13, 2020.
The exports of Ukrainian flour in this MY has also increased significantly, now it amounts to 280,7 thousand tons and this is 58,9 thousand tons more that it had been exported from July 1, 2018 to April 13, 2019.
As it has been informed before, the Ministry of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine has signed with the participants of the grain market a Memorandum on limiting the volume of wheat, which can be exported till June 30, 2020. This volume is 20,2 million tons. The Annex to the Memorandum on mutual understanding have signed: American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Ukrainian Grain Association, European Business Association, International Association of grain and Feed Trade (GAFTA), PU “All-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum”, PU “Flour of Ukraine”.
