Andrii Zablotskyi, the head of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine informed on his Facebook page that in February 2020 enterprises belonging to the management sphere of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine increased processed wood exports by 25% (now it amounts to 68 thousand cubic meters) in comparison with December, 2019.

 He wrote that the statistics looks like this: in December 2019 Ukraine exported 54,4 thousand cubic meters of processed wood and in February 2020 – more than 68 cubic meters. Export growth in the first two months of this year has been + 25%.

According to Zablotskyi Ukrainian manufacturers exported different types of lumber, wood shavings, fireplace log pieces, blanks for pallets, saw blanks, etc.

According to the information provided by UKRINFORM, in total in January-February, 2020 Ukraine has sold abroad 1,14 million cubic meters of wood and this is 6% more in comparison with the previous year.
