During 11 months of 2019 Ukraine has exported agricultural products worth 20,2 billion USD and this number exceeded the sum received from exports of agricultural products during 2018. In 2018 the record value of agrarian exports amounted to 18,8 billion USD.

Mykola Puhachov, the Deputy Director of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics” and the corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences said that this information is proved by the statistical data. He has also added that the volume of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU exceeded the historical record. In comparison with the last year, when Ukraine exported to the countries of this region food and products worth 6,3 billion USD, during January-November of 2019 this number has reached 6,8 billion USD.

According to the expert, the biggest income Ukrainian exporters traditionally receive from selling grain crops (8,6 billion USD), oilseeds (2,3 billion USD), oil (4,2 billion USD), food industry residues and wastes (1,4 billion USD) and meat products (0,7 billion USD).

To sum up, Mykola Puhachov told that since the calendar year is not over yet, all these indicators will be increased, forming the final results of domestic agri-food exports, which will become a new benchmark for the agriculture.
