The competent authorities of Ukraine and Japan have approved an international veterinary certificate for poultry meat export from Ukraine to Japan. More detailed information about the veterinary certificate can be found on the official website of the State Service of Ukraine to Food Safety and Consumer Protection in a column “International cooperation”, in a rubric “Ukrainian Export certificates”.

The competent authorities of both countries have also agreed on import requirements for animal health to make delivery of poultry meat from Ukraine to Japan possible.

In 2018 Ukraine delivered 326,793 thousand tons of broiler meat to foreign markets and earned 503 million USD.
