Over the past 4 years, Ukraine has turned from an importer of turkey meat into an exporter. Due to the war, the domestic demand for turkey meat reduced, which allowed to change the vector of trade. During 2019-2021, the main importers of these Ukrainian products were Moldova (almost half of the volume), Benin, and Azerbaijan. In 2022, supplies have increased in 7 times. In 7 months of this year, 4,4 thousand tons of turkey meat were exported, which is almost the figure for 2022.

The U.S., through USAID, will provide financing for the construction of 75-kilometer (47-mile) segment of dually gauged rail which will connect Lviv with the Trans European Network for Transport  with a total amount of 225 million US dollars. Ukrainian railways use a gauge of 1520 mm, while the railways of European countries have a standard gauge of a smaller width - 1435 mm.
